There are indications that indigenous conglomerate; Sifax Group has suffered a fire incident at one of its bonded terminal at Trinity Bus Stop along Apapa Oshodi expressway.

Sources confirmed to DAILY TREND NEWS that the incident occured around 1.30 am on Wednesday and affected some parts of the terminal.

When he was contacted by our correspondent, the Corporate Affairs Manager of Sifax Group, OluMuyiwa Akande could not confirm the incident as at time of filing the report.
He promised to get back to our correspondent.

However, the terminal manager, Mr Oliver Omajuwa confirmed to our correspondent that there was a minor fire crisis at the terminal but that it was not affected. He also promised to get back to our correspondent that he was in a meeting.

Speaking with our correspondent, a a concerned clearing agent in a phone conversation said “Since the terminal has said it was a minor fire, it means they are handling it, we hope it is something they can manage, because if it a colossal thing and cargoes are involved, that would mean we would ask for compensations”
