MWUN: Apapa, Onne Community Commend Adeyanju’s Leadership, Seeks Youth Employment

The United Apapa Youth Forum (UAYF) and the Onne/Torukongo Youth Association has commended the leadership style of Comrade Adewale Adeyanju, President General of Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN)
The groups have equally called on the union to carry the youths of both communities along, especially in employment opportunities, so as to reduce restiveness in the port communities.
In a release sent to DAILY TREND NEWS, the Grand Patron of United Apapa Youths Forum and the Paramount Ruler of the Torunkongo Coastal community in Onne /Ikpokiri, Rivers State, His Royal Highness, Victor Nangibo stated that there is need to reduce unemployment among among youths, adding that whatever affects the communities would definitely affect the ports.
He rated rated Comrade Adeyanju as a Godsent labour leader of impeccable qualities and human oriented capacity development leader.
“Com Adeyanju has improved the lives of maritime workers as never before, his policies can not be overemphasised, we pray for God to continue to protect him and guide him through his time as the labour leader of our time”
“We also want to express the need for him to carry the communities along in terms of employment in the port to reduce the youths restiveness in the port communities”
“It would be said that, whatever affects the port communities affects the ports operations”
“I also advise Adeyanju to be steadfast and never despair in the leadership qualities he has shown, no matter the effort of detractors, we believe that with God’s guidance, he will achieve his goals” Nangibo stated.
