Single Window Mgt Disables Temporary File Upload on Customs B’Odogwu Platform

The National Single Window (NSW) management has announced the discontinuation of a temporary file upload option on the Nigeria Customs Service’s B’Odogwu platform, effective June 22, 2026, marking another milestone in the ongoing rollout of the NSW Platform.
The temporary feature, introduced at the NSW Platform’s launch on March 27, 2026, had served as an interim measure allowing importers and their agents to attach additional documents to Form M and Pre-Arrival Assessment Report (PAAR) applications requiring multiple master or consignment documents from the same regulatory agency.
In a circular to stakeholders, signed 17th June, 2026, the NSW management noted that the system has since been upgraded to natively support the attachment of multiple instances of master and consignment documents from the same regulatory agency, using relevant document reference numbers obtained directly from the NSW Platform.
“Starting from the 22nd of June 2026, the temporary file upload option will be disabled,” the management stated, adding that all importers must obtain their master and consignment documents for regulated products before applying for Form M and PAAR through the NSW platform.
The development signals a consolidation of the NSW Platform’s capabilities, as management moves to phase out workarounds introduced during the system’s early deployment.
Stakeholders with outstanding challenges have been advised to escalate promptly through designated NSW support channels and walk-in centre in Apapa Lagos.
