Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has completed reconstruction of 3 Battalion Soldiers Transit Accommodation at Effurun Barracks, Delta State.

The facility was redesigned, reconstructed, and fully furnished before it was formally handed over to the Army authorities.

The renovation is a Tantita’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) effort.

The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities designed to enhance the living conditions of soldiers stationed at the barracks.

Speaking during the commissioning of the new accommodation, the General Officer Commanding 6 Division of the Nigerian Army, Maj. Gen. J.H Abdusallam, commended Tantita Security Services Limited for the gesture, describing it as a laudable project that would immensely benefit the Nigerian Army, especially in the area of accommodation.

Maj. Gen. Abdusallam said, “I am aware of the enormous resources that Tantita committed towards achieving this project. It will engender the spirit of togetherness and goodwill which will be sustained. I thank you most sincerely for complementing the Nigerian Army’s efforts of improving the welfare of personnel,” he said.

He urged the management of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited to also look at other barracks and extend same goodwill to them.

Maj. Gen. Abdusallam observed that the Nigerian Army has had a good working relationship with Tantita Security Services Limited, suing for the continuation of the co-operation between them.

He said, “Nigeria Army will continue to have and sustain the working relationship with Tantita Security Services Ltd.

“You can see that this project was born out of this working relationship we have kept with the private security company. If we have not kept such working relationship, I don’t think this project would have come to stay.”

The Executive Director (Operations & Technical), Tantita Security Services Limited, Capt. Warredi Enisuoh in his remarks said: “We have reasons to be more grateful to all the security forces. We will continue to stand by you just the way you stood by us. This is the beginning of a great partnership to come.”

He added, “You have not only contributed to our development and safety, you have also contributed greatly to the development of our security, this region (Niger Delta) and indeed, our nation, Nigeria.”

The redesigned and reconstructed accommodation provides the soldiers with 68 rooms, 18 bathrooms and conveniences, and 3 central kitchens – all fully equipped with modern amenities meant to enhance the living condition of soldiers stationed at the barracks. It is said to have the capacity to accommodate 140 soldiers at a time.

Maj. Gen. Abdusallam was accompanied at the commissioning by the Commander, 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Brig. Gen. Unachukwu Nwachukwu and other top brass of the Nigerian army.

  1. It is only God who can give us better things and better times. Nobody can give us life. Only God. Nobody can control flood. Only God Almighty. Who can feed all the world? God Almighty. So I put my trust in God the Creator, not in humans with their gods.
