ANLCA Members Troop Out, As Vice President, Prince Segun Oduntan Gives Daughter’s Hand in Marriage

It was all pump and pageantry as National Vice President of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Prince Segun Oduntan and his wife, Olori Funmilola Oduntan on Thursday gave their daughter, Lanre Oduntan’s hand in marriage to her heartthrob, Folusho Iyaniwura.
The event saw ANLCA family trooping out in their large numbers to honor their National Vice President at a grand joining ceremony held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Fountain of Life Sanctuary, Ikeja, Lagos.
The wedding ceremony, which took place amidst an atmosphere of jubilation and camaraderie, marked a significant milestone in the lives of both Lanre Oduntan and Folusho Iyaniwura, as well as their families. Friends, family members, colleagues, and well-wishers gathered to witness and partake in the auspicious occasion.
The ANLCA team was led by its national President, Emenike Nwokeoji, who equally chaired the ceremony. Other notable ANLCA members in attendance included its Patron, Prince Taiye Oyeniyi, BOT members; Sir Earnest Elochukwu and Mr Dayo Azeez, elder statesman and President of Oodua Maritime, Chief Oye Ariyo, Hajia Bola Muse, Babatunde Mukaila, Olumide Fakanlu and a whole lot of others.
The event also was attended by Chairman of Onne Port chapter, Chief Mike Ebeatu and others from the Eastern Zone.
Others included; terminal operators, Area Comptrollers of Customs among many others.
The chairman of the occasion and President of ANLCA, Emenike Nwokeoji, urged the couple; Lanre and Folusho, to show love and unity among themselves, stating that they are no longer boy and girl but husband and wife.
“It is a great opportunity to celebrate God’s kindness with this family. I will advise you that, marriage is not for boys or for girls, in this context, Folorunsho you are now a man, Lanre is now a woman.
“There are some friends at this point that you are no longer advised to keep, not that they would become your enemies, but some hangouts needs to be cut short.
“There are ups and downs, but to overcome the challenges, you need to build the marriage on God, when God is with you, the journey would be smooth. I pray that your marriage will be successful and whatever your heart desires are, God will grant them” Emenike stated.
