ANLCA Chieftain, Sheriff Cisse Eulogise Customs Deputy Comptroller, A.R Usman on Excellent Performance Award

Coordinator of Car Park ‘C’, Five Star Logistics Terminal, Tin Can Island Port chapter of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Alhaji Sheriff Cisse has congratulated the Deputy Comptroller of Customs, A.R Usman on his Excellent Performance Award bestowed on him by Coalition of Maritime Journalists Association of Nigeria.
DC Usman is the officer in charge of FOT Gate, Onne Customs Command, Rivers State.
The ANLCA Chieftain who is the Chairman of Amtiaco Global Limited, described the customs DC Usman, as a man deserving of the award and even more accolades, going by his level of intellectual sagacity and versed knowledge of customs operations.
Prior to DC Usman’s transfer to Onne Port, Alhaji Cisse said he was the OC gate in Car park C of Tin Can Port where he left indelible marks. He was later transferred to Tin Can Port 1st gate as OC gate, where he was able to Intercept some arm shipments.
AR Usman is noted for his doggedness and persistence in achieving huge revenue for Federal Government at any of his postings.
Since he assumed duty at the FOT GATE at Onne, our correspondent gathered that clearing agents were forced to comply with due process. The agents’ strict compliance has resulted to Area 2 Customs Command generating huge revenue within few months since he took over FOT GATE unit.
DC Usman is a team player, who with collective effort of officers under his department to achieve the set objective in line with the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller B Imam’s directives.
