Dr Taiwo Afolabi, Sifax Group Boss, Congratulates Asu Beks At 70

Even as all roads leads to De Dove Centre, Festac Town on Sunday 14th, January 2024 for the 70th birthday of Elder Asu Beks, a media icon in the Nigerian maritime industry, frontline business mogul and Chairman of Sifax Group, Dr Taiwo Afolabi has congratulated the media guru.

Dr Afolabi in a letter he personally signed, dated 9th of January 2024, acknowledged the contribution of Elder Asu Beks to the overall development of the maritime industry in Nigeria.

“This feat calls for celebration in view of the life expectancy in Nigeria which you have surpassed in good health and your records of achievements in the Nigerian maritime industry.

“You are not called “The Godfather” for fun.

“It’s an acknowledgment of your sterling contributions to the industry in general and Nigeria at large. It is quite encouraging that your age has not slowed you down in contributing your quota to the overall development of the maritime industry, especially through strategic advocacy, media practice and stakeholder engagement.

“As you clock this milestone age of 70, it is my prayer that the Lord will increase you on every side and bless you with good health and greater wisdom. Once again, congratulations and accept my best wishes for the future” the message read.
