There are indications that the acceptability of the Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON) has continued to grow, even as the association continues to expand its scope of operations and building its membership base in the freight and logistics business.

The association would on 26th of October 2023 Inaugurate its Onne Seaport Chapter in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The event is expected to hold at Number 21, Harbour Road, Onne Opposite One Market by Old Plazando Fast Food, Port Harcourt.

The chief host of the event is the National President of APFFLON, Otunba Frank Ogunojemite, while the Chapter Chairman, Fwdr Okezie Nwoko is the Host.

Recall that in July 2022, APFFLON had opened it’s operational office in South Africa.

This would be the first freight forwarding association in Nigeria that would break international barriers by establishing presence abroad.
Already, APFFLON has already established it’s presence in Ghana, while having operational offices across Nigeria including Apapa Port, Tin Can Island Port, Seme Borders and Muritala Muhammed Airport Lagos

As part of activities to mark the inauguration of the Onne chapter, the APFFLON President told DAILY TREND that the National Executive Council of the association would be paying courtesy visits to key stakeholders in Port Harcourt including the Assistant Comptroller General of Customs in charge of Zone C Command on Tuesday 24th, October 2023.

He said the visit would also be an opportunity to discuss issues affecting the freight forwarding industry in Nigena
