WABOTAN Congratulates Comrade Adeyanju On his Emergence as NLC 1st Deputy President

The Waterfront Boat Owners and Transporters Association (WABOTAN) has congratulated the President General of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) on his emergence as the Deputy President of the Nigerian Labor Congress (NLC)

National President of WABOTAN, Comrade Tope Fajemirokun inna press statement on Thursday declared the association’s full support for the MWUN PG throughout his tenure in his new assignment.

Comrade Fajemirokun described the NLC number-two man as a passionate labour leader, even as he added that Comrade Adeyanju has added his footprints in the sands of time, especially in improving welfare of Maritime Workers, and bringing about peace and industrial harmony in the maritime sector.

Recall that Comrade Adeyanju was on Wednesday elected unopposed as the 1st Deputy President of NLC at it’s 13th National Delegate Conference held at the International Conference Center in Abuja.

Comrade Adeyanju emerged alongside the NLC National President, Comrade Joe Ajaero among other national executives.
