BREAKING: Ahead of President Buhari’s Commissioning, NPA Berths CMA-CGM Container Vessel At Lekki Port

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced the berthing of a CMA CGM vessel at the Lekki Deep Seaport in Lagos on Sunday, even as President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to commission the port on Monday.

On its Twitter handle; @nigerianports, NPA posted
“Ahead of the President’s commissioning of @LekkiPort for commercial operations tomorrow, one of the largest container vessels, the CMA-CGM, has berthed at the port.

“Once more, @NigerianPorts has proven that it is prepared to offer marine services for seamless port operations.

DAILY TREND reports that the French container carrier, CMA CGM is to operate the container terminal at the newly completed Lekki port.
