Maritime Workers Union, NARTO Seek Police Support Over MoU

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) and the National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO) on Wednesday 11th May 2022, visited Commissioner Of Police, Lagos State Command to seek support for the existing MoU between both bodies.
Recall that both bodies in March 2022 signed a Memorandum of Understanding in a bid to boost the welfare of truckers in Nigeria.
The union had also indicated that it would start the collection of fees from all trucks plying the port.
The visit to the police was led by President General of MWUN, Comrade Adewale Adeyanju and Alhaji Yusuf Othman, President NARTO.
