NAGAFF Embarks on Mass Recruitment of Freight Forwarders To Win CRFFN Elections

The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has revealed the-ace-up-its-sleeve, as well as most of the tactics it is planing to deploy in order to secure major victory in the upcoming elections into the Governing Council of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN)

In a statement sent to our correspondent and signed by Rev Emma Agubanze, Head of Compliance at NAGAFF Headquarters, the association revealed that it is embarking on a mass registration of freight forwarders, especially those without customs licenses so that they could be able to vote on the election day.

NAGAFF recalled that in the last election into the Council, it had 1,100 eligible voters out of 1,300 accredited, she however vowed that the number of eligible voters for this year would be 3,500 from NAGAFF.

The statement confirms that the CRFFN has deployed five of its personnel to the NAGAFF Headquarters to assist in the registration and updates of eligible voters whose names are already in the register of freight forwarders.

“All natural persons primarily in the business of freight forwarding must approach NAGAFF Hqrs urgently and register their names .

“This shall in turn facilitate their entrance into the elite practioners under the control and regulation of council for the regulation of freight forwarding in Nigeria. And for the purposes of CRFFN election 2021, take note that NAGAFF is willing to assist young freight forwarders who do not have the means to pay their annual subscription fees.”

“You will recall that nagaff in the last election had 1,100 eligible voters out of 1,300 accredited. It is our hope that we should be able to upgrade our numerical number to 3,500 eligible voters to foreclose any opposition further in the whole exercise”
