Compt Onyeka Upholds Weekend Operations At Tin Can Customs, Excludes Female Officers for Sunday

The Customs Area Controller of Tin Can Island Command of Nigeria Customs Service, Compt Frank Onyeka has said the service is committed to its Weekend Operations and clearance of cargo from the port, even as he urged stakeholders to make use of the opportunity to take delivery of their cargoes.

In a widely circulated notice on Friday, the Comptroller notified all Terminal and Unit heads as well as Staff Officers that there will be weekend operations on Saturday 11th October 2025, as well as Sunday 12th of October 2025.

He however excluded female officers from the Sunday operations.

“Officers and men are enjoined to be at their various duty posts by 1000hrs on Saturday and 1200hrs on Sunday. Female officers are excluded from Sunday’s Operation” the notice read.
