APFFLON Congratulates NPA’s Executive Director, Engr Olalekan Badmus on Instalation As Aare Bobagunwa of Owu-Ile Kingdom

The National President, Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON) Otunba Frank Ogunojemite has congratulated the Executive Director, Marine and Operations of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Engr Abdulrahaman Olalekan Badmus on his installation as the Aare Bobagunwa of Owu-Ile land in Ogun State.

Engr Badmus who was installed on Saturday at a ceremony held on Saturday 7th of June 2025 at the Olowu of Owu-Ile and Olona of Ada, also bagged the chieftaincy titled of Otunba Fiwasaye of Ada Land.
The APFFLON President, Otunba Ogunojemite in a statement on Sunday described the honor bestowed on the NPA top gun as we deserved, even as he described Eng Badmus as a true son of the soil and Omoluabi of yoruba race.

“We in APFFLON use this opportunity to felicitate with you for this well deserved recognition. We believe it is an attestation of your true spirit of an Omoluabi of the Yoruba race” he stated
Otunba Ogunojemite extolled the excellent contributions of Engr Badmus to the growth and development of the NPA, a parastatal under the marine and blue economy ministry, since he came onboard, describing him as a professional .

Eng Olalekan Badmus was appointed as Executive Director, Marine and Operations of NPA by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on January 4th, 2024.
He is a seasoned administrator, development enthusiast, technology expert and a successful boardroom personae with vast experience in both private and public sectors.
He is the immediate past Commissioner for Regional Integration and Special Duties in Osun State, where he led the State Steering Committee of Osun Food Support Scheme. He was also Commissioner supervising the ministries of Culture and Tourism as well as Ministry of Home Affairs between June, 2022 and November, 2022.
