UACC President, Rev Owoyemi Storms Ekiti State, Rallies Support of Traditional Rulers
As part of his familiarization tour of all parishes of the church across the globe, President of the United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC), Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi has visited all the UACC parishes and some traditional rulers in Ekiti State.
Recall that Rev. Dr. Owoyemi had visited the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji at his Palace, as well as the President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Dr. Samson Olasupo Ayokunle at his office in Ibadan, Oyo State as part of activities to mark its Pastors Conference 2021 which held in March 2021.
The UACC President is currently at Ekiti State of Nigeria.
As part of schedules for the tour, Rev Dr. James Owoyemi and his cabinet visited some traditional rulers in the State where he prayed for peace of their domains and peace in Ekiti land and Nigeria as a whole.
Rev. Dr. Owoyemi also used the occasion to solicit the support of the traditional rulers for his aim of propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Among the traditional rulers visited are His Royal Majesty, Ajero of Ijero Kingdom, Oba Joseph Adebayo Adewole (JP) Arojojoye II.
His Royal Majesty, Obanla of Ijesha Isu Ekiti, Oba Gabrilel Oso Adeniyi Ojukutu II.
His Royal Majesty, The Ewi of Ado Kingdom, Oba (DR.) Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe, Aladesanmi III.
His Royal Majesty, the Elekole of Irole Kingdom and paramount ruler of Egbe Oba Kingdom, Oba James Adewumi Ajibade.
His Royal Majesty, the Elemure of Emure Kingdom, Oba Emmanuel Adebowale Adebayo. Atayerobiagogo Aminmin III.
His Royal Majesty, the Ogaga of Ikere Ekiti, Oba Adejimi Samuel Adu, Alagbado Agiriala II.
All the traditional rulers visited were glad to receive Rev. Dr. Owoyemi who is also an indigene of Ekiti State. The Traditional rulers who have embraced the gospel of Jesus promised their support for the President.
It was jubilation galore in all parishes of the church visited as the congregants were glad to sight their new President.
Some of the parishes visited by Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi and his team include UACC Oke Aanu, Oke Oro, UACC Koseunti, Ara Ekiti, UACC Omi-naira Kan (Temidire), Ijero Ekiti, UACC Iyanu, Ijesa Isu, UACC Oke Ibukun, Ado Ekiti, UACC House of Prayer, UACC New Covenant Capel, Ado Ekiti, UACC Oke Imole, UACC Igbala Iwusan, Ise Ekiti, UACC Oke Ayo, Ise Ekiti amongst others.
Rev Dr. Owyemi equally visited the management of a radio station, 92.7 FM (New Cruise FM), Ikere Ekiti.
The Presidential visit will be rounded up with revival and trustees meeting at Ikere Local Government of the State with a special thanksgiving service on Sunday
