ANLCA Apapa Chairman, Emeka Chukwumalu Bags Transformational Leadership Award from UNIZIK Alumni

Chief Emeka Chukwumalu, Chairman of Apapa Chapter of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has been honoured with the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Alumni Association (NAUAA) Transformational Leadership Award in recognition of his philanthropic gesture and sustained support to the Alumni Association.
The award was presented to him during the NAUAA Converge 2.0 held on Friday, 28th August 2026, at the Alumni Building Complex, Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka.
The event, themed “Uniting UNIZIK Alumni for Impact, Legacy and Global Excellence,” brought together alumni, stakeholders and friends of the university to celebrate outstanding contributions to the institution.
Chief Chukwumalu was described by the organizers as a shining example of alumni commitment to service, industry leadership, and giving back to alma mater.
Presenting the award, the leadership of NAUAA noted that Chief Chukwumalu’s support has continued to strengthen the Association’s drive toward completing key legacy projects, including the Alumni Centre Building.
The Converge 2.0 featured goodwill messages, fundraising, and recognition of distinguished alumni and friends of UNIZIK who have made impact in their fields and in the development of the university.
