PHOTO TREND: Starzs Investments Company Limited Holds 40th Anniversary Symposium

Starzs Investments Company Limited (SICL) marked 40 years of operation in Nigeria’s maritime industry with a symposium and gala night held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Friday, July 10th, 2026.

The symposium, themed “Anchoring Resilience: 40 Years of Private Indigenous Initiative, Shaping Nigeria’s Maritime Future,” featured a keynote lecture by the Guest Speaker and Representative of the Minister of Finance, Mallam Dalhat M.K., titled “From Policy to Prosperity: Leveraging Local Content, Capital and Competitiveness for Nigeria’s Maritime Future.”

The event drew top figures from the maritime and oil and gas sectors, including the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), represented by its Ag. Director of Planning, Research, and Statistics, Silas Omomehin Ajimijaye, and Ag. Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, Barr. Kikile Dan Esueme, alongside former Executive Secretaries of the Board, Mr. Simbi Wabote and Dr. Ernest Nwapa.

The gala night, themed “Transforming Lives, 40 Years On,” celebrated the company’s milestone under the leadership of Managing Director/CEO Ms. Iroghama Ogbeifun and Founder/Chairman Engr. Greg Ogbeifun, with dignitaries from the medical, corporate, and maritime sectors in attendance.
