Shippers Council’s Employee Wins “Rising Star” Award At Women in Maritime and Energy Ceremony
Barr. Joy Bridget Dimka of the Legal Services Department of Nigerian Shippers’ Council has been honored with the prestigious “Rising Star” Award at the Women in Maritime and Energy (WIME) Awards Ceremony.
The award, which recognizes outstanding contributions and achievements of women in the Maritime and Energy sectors, was presented to her at a ceremony held in Lagos,recently.
The Women in Maritime and Energy Awards is a first of its kind initiative to place importance on the impact and recognition of the ever-growing achievements of women in the Maritime and Energy industries while celebrating and honoring the women making the greatest and remarkable impacts in both industries.
The WIME Awards also recognizes the benefits of increasing women’s participation in employment and leadership roles which have been globally proven to be an enabler for economic growth and development.
