IWD 2025: Bola Muse Makes Statement, Rallies Chinwe Ezenwa, Bolaji Sunmola, Others to Celebrate Women Living with Disabilities

President of Bomarah Foundation, Hajia Bola Muse has celebrated women all over the world in a message issued on Saturday 8th March 2025 in commemoration of the International Women’s Day (IWD) 2025.

This is even as her Foundation; Bomarah Foundation, in collaboration with Chanelle Foundation, both non-governmental organisations, is set to hold a programme on 20th of March 2025 to celebrate women living with disabilities.

The event with theme: “Accelerate Action Against All Odds”, would be holding at the Apapa Local Government Area by 10am.

Among those expected to speak at the event are; Chief Mrs Chinwe Ezenwa, the Chief Executive Officer of Lelook Nigeria Limited as mother of the day, Special Guest of honor is Mr Bolaji Sunmola, Chairman of Nigerian Ports Consultative Council (PCC)

Others expected are; Dr Anire Okogun, President of Chanelle Foundation who is the Co-host, as well as Hon Akeem Ademola Ige, Chairman of Oyo State Government Pension Board as special guest of honor.

In her message, Bola Muse said “My dearest sisters,
On behalf of the entire Bomarah Foundation family, I extend warmest greetings and felicitations to all the women all over the world on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

“Today, we celebrate the unwavering spirit, unrelenting resilience, and unbridled potential of women everywhere. We honor the trailblazers who paved the way for future generations, and we recognize the countless contributions women make to our communities, our organization, and our world.

“As President of Bomarah Foundation, I am proud to lead an organization that values and empowers women. We believe in creating a society where women have equal opportunities, equal rights, and equal voices.

“To our women members, I say thank you. Thank you for your tireless efforts, your unwavering dedication, and your unrelenting passion. You are the backbone of our organization, and we are grateful for your presence.

“As we celebrate International Women’s Day, let us reaffirm
our commitment to gender equality, women’s empowerment, and social justice. Let us continue to work together to create a world where women can thrive, grow, and reach their full potential.
