The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has issued Certificates of returns to newly elected Chairmen in the Western Zone Chapter, following a peaceful resolution of the fallout of the election conducted recently at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos.
The inauguration and issuance of certificate was done by the ANLCA Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairman, Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha at the ANLCA National Secretariat on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the association has resolved the crisis surrounding the Apapa elections, even as Emeka Chukwumalu has been declared winner and issued his certificate of return as Apapa Chairman.
According to the association leadership, the association must continue to forge ahead in unity, and cannot allow any cracks in its ranks due to election matters.
Speaking at the inauguration, ANLCA National President said peace and progress has returned to ANLCA, and that gone are the days of having various camps, caucuses, adding that the recent election has further strengthened the unity in the association.
Tin Can Island Port chapter Chairman, Prince Olawale Cole and his elected executives also got their certificate of returns, as well as KLT Chairman, Ahmed Olajide Bello.
The inauguration was attended by the former President of ANLCA, Prince Olayiwola Shittu, the Chairman of Customs Consultative Council (CCC) Aare Hakeem Olanrewaju, BOT members, NECOM members, among other dignitaries
