ANLCA Election: Tin Can Chairman-elect, Wale Cole Commends NECOM, BOT, ASECO, Promises Inclusive Administration

Newly elected Chairman of Tin Can Island Chapter of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Prince Wale Cole has expressed appreciation to the association’s national President, Emenike Nwokeoji and the entire National Executive Committee (NECOM) as well as the Board of Trustees (BOT) and the Association Electoral Committee (ASECO) for the free and fair manner with which the chapter elections were held last week.

Cole in a statement on Sunday also assured that his victory at elections would not be a ‘winner take all’ ,even as he promised to run an Inclusive administration where every member of Tin Can chapter would be given a pride of place.

The ANLCA Chairman insisted that gone are the days where factions, caucuses and opposition camps thrive at Tin Can chapter, he urged his opponents who lost the election to put on a sportsmanship spirit, and join hands with him to run the Administration.

“They should not see themselves as loosers, in an election, somebody must emerge, but we are all winners. I want to encourage them to have a sportsmanship spirit, I can assure you that we are going to run this government together, we are going to do away with the former way of doing things at Tin Can, no more politics of bitterness ” Wale Cole assured.

Continuing, the Chairman-elect said “With profound appreciation and deep respect, myself and my executives extend our heartfelt gratitudes to the esteemed leadership of ANLCA for their unwavering commitment to democracy, transparency, and excellence in the recently concluded elections.

“I commend the ANLCA National President and the entire National Executive Committee (NECOM) for their visionary leadership and steadfast dedication to ensuring a free, fair, and credible electoral process.

“Your commitment to integrity, professionalism, and inclusiveness has strengthened the foundation of our great association, reinforcing stakeholders’ trust in ANLCA’s democratic structures.

“I also express my sincere appreciation to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT) and all esteemed Board Members for their invaluable role in safeguarding the democratic principles that guide our electoral process of association.

“Your wisdom, leadership, and steadfast support were instrumental in ensuring a seamless and transparent election, reflecting your deep commitment to the collective progress and unity of ANLCA.

“I extend my profound gratitude to the Western Zone Coordinator and Secretary for their diligence, efficiency, and unwavering dedication to ensuring a well-organized and credible electoral process in our zone. Your meticulous coordination and commitment to fairness have further cemented the credibility of our association’s governance.
