ANLCA Youths Forum Congratulates Tin Can Chapter Chairman Elect, Wale Cole, Executives over Landslide Victory

The Tin Can Island chapter Youth Forum of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has congratulated Prince Wale Cole and his entire executive team on their landslide victory in the Western Zone Chapters election held at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos on Thursday.

Prince Wale Cole, a popular youth candidate, secured a resounding win, garnering 105 votes compared to his opponent’s 6. The youth forum’s leadership has however expressed enthusiastic support for the newly elected officials.

Saliu Remilekun Sikiru, the youth leader, conveyed his congratulations, stating, “I want to congratulate the entire team on the just concluded election of the Tin Can Island chapter under ANLCA. The election set a new dawn and is considered one of the most peaceful elections in the history of ANLCA. A special congratulations to the elected youthful chairman, Prince Olawale Cole. His victory is well deserved.

“He has paid his dues, stood in for members, and suffered in the past for the association, which is why I said it’s a no-brainer.”

Sikiru also acknowledged the election of youth representatives to key positions, including Franky Paul Nwegbe as Secretary and Ijigbade Temitope as Assistant Secretary, thanking the directors for their support.

He encouraged those who were not elected, emphasizing that their contributions were valued and that everyone would be involved in the administration.

He expressed confidence in Cole’s leadership, describing him as “a man of honor” ready to serve and address the challenges facing members.

Owoseni Azeez, Public Relations Officer for the forum, added, “Please accept our warm congratulations on your victory and our best wishes for your success as you prepare to take up the responsibilities and challenges of your new office.

“As you embark upon your new responsibilities, we wish to assure all newly elected excos of Tin Can and beyond of our cooperation and support throughout your stay in office to achieve industry-desired results.

“We also want to use this medium to appreciate the present and past leaders of the association for the success of this election and a sincere adoration to our Western Zone Chairman for his steadfastness and commitment to the peaceful coordination of the zone electoral process.”

Azeez emphasized the significance of the victory and expressed belief in the elected officials’ capacity to lead the association forward.

Sanyaolu Oluwaseun Sunday, Youth Secretary, also extended his congratulations, saying, “I want to use this medium to congratulate all contestants and winners of yesterday’s ANLCA election, starting with KLT Chairman Alhaji Ahmed Bello.

“A big congratulations to our boss and our friends, the new Tin Can Chairman, Comrade Wale Cole. We give thanks to Almighty God for this victory, and we believe this will shape the Tin Can chapter in the right direction and bring a new dawn.

“I will like to use this medium to congratulate the whole Tin Can youth for a collective win. As Tin Can Secretary and Assistant General Secretary, Franky Paul and Ijigbade Temitope, the whole of Tin Can celebrates you, and we believe you will deliver appropriately on the task ahead.

“We implore you to work as a team with your chairman, as the entire youth will help identify challenges and bring them to your table for proper solutions. I will like to appreciate Ayofowose, who lost to Ijigbade; we love you, and the entire youth wing celebrates you.

“Together, we will get Tin Can on the right path. I will like to celebrate another winner in all ramifications, Comrade Busuyi Mihceal. I am sure you know you are a winner come rain, come sun; the experience gathered cannot be bought with money. We, the entire youth, look forward to seeing more of you in the next coming election, as we believe in your capacity and capability. Lastly, I want to appreciate the Western Zone Coordinator, Alhaji Anifowose.
