Comrade Oniha Erazua Emerges New Secretary General of Maritime Workers Union

—As Union Releases List of Staff Promotion

The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) under the leadership of Comrade Adewale Adeyanju has approved the promotion of Comrade Oniha Erazua as the new Secretary General of the union

Oniha takes over from the former Secretary General, Comrade Felix Akingboye.

The union recently approved the promotion of some of the Union’s staff across board of the four branches of the Union for their dedication, discipline, commitment, hardwork, and goodly attitude towards effective and efficient productivity on the job for the Union at all times.

The affected officers are
as follows:-

1) Comrade Oniha Erazua now Secretary General of the Union who now takes over the reign of the Union as the new Ag. SG.

2) Comrade Ekpo John is now Deputy Secretary General who now takes over as the new DSG Administration and Human Resources of the Union.

3) Comrade Kenneth Ibanga, Deputy Secretary General, now DSG Protocol/International Relations

4) Comrade Ajayi A. Akinwumi now Deputy Secretary General, Organizing/Operation of the Union and to also oversee the Seamen Branch.

5) Comrade Augustine Onoriode, now Deputy Secretary General (DSG)

6) Comrade Matthew Adele, now General Secretary of Dockworkers Branch of the Union.

7) Comrade Okoro Kalu now General Secretary of Shipping Branch of the Union.

8) Comrade Joseph John Ekwere now Ag General Secretary of Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA) Branch of the Union.

9) Comrade Olungwe Dagogo now Ag. General Secretary of Seafarers Branch of the Union.

10) Comrade Garba Biu Mohammed now Ag. Assistant General Secretary (AGS) to Shipping Branch of the Union on Ship Data Management.

11) Comrade R. Adebayo as Accountant to oversee NPA/Seafarers Branches accounts respectively.

12) Comrade Iyabo Ajibaye now Account to oversee Dockworkers/Shipping Branches respectively.

12) Comrade Owolabi A. Mark now Senior Legal Officer of the Union .

13) Comrade John Kennedy Ikemefuna now Senior Media Officer/ Head Media of the Union.

The affected staff of the Union had since assumed their new designations as as approved and signed by the Comrade Adeyanju.
