Sheriff Cisse Congratulates ANLCA Board Chairman Taiwo Mustapha, Commends Mukaila’s Maturity

The Coordinator of the Car Park ‘C’ at the Five Star Logistics Terminal of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Tin Can Island Port chapter, Alhaji Sheriff Cisse, has extended his congratulations to the newly elected Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Association. He specifically congratulated Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha on his emergence as the Chairman of the Board.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Cisse also commended Otunba Babatunde Mukaila, who was a contestant in the BOT election but was unexpectedly disqualified on the day of the vote.

Cisse praised Mukaila, recognized as a peace ambassador, for accepting his disqualification in good faith to prevent the Association from being plunged into another round of crises, court cases, and internal conflicts.

Furthermore, Cisse urged the newly elected ANLCA Board members to use their positions to promote the growth and development of the clearing and forwarding profession. He highlighted the challenges currently faced by many clearing agents, including hardships imposed by shipping companies, terminal operators, and government agencies.

“I want to congratulate our newly elected BOT and Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha as the newly elected Chairman of the Board. I also commend Otunba Babatunde Mukaila for the maturity he displayed when he was disqualified on the day of the BOT election. To our newly elected Board members, I encourage them to do their best for the Association and to alleviate the suffering of ANLCA members at the ports,” Cisse stated.
