ANLCA BOT Holds Inaugural Meeting, Elects Taiwo Mustapha as Chairman

The Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) convened its inaugural meeting on Monday, September 23, 2024, where Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha was re-elected as Chairman of the Board, along with other key officials.

According to the National Publicity Secretary of ANLCA, Mr. Emmanuel Onyeme, Taiwo Mustapha’s re-election as Chairman is a testament to his unwavering dedication to the service of ANLCA and his commitment to humanity. Onyeme stated, “Taiwo Mustapha’s leadership during challenging times proved his resilience and dedication to our association. His return as Chairman is well-deserved.”

Mustapha previously served as Chairman of the BOT during a period of internal leadership crisis within the association. Despite the challenges, he and five of his colleagues remained steadfast in their commitment to restoring peace and stability within ANLCA.

In addition to Mustapha’s re-election, other officials were also appointed to key positions within the BOT. Chief Dennis Okafor was elected as Vice Chairman, while Mr. Kingsley Offor assumed the role of Secretary.

The full roster of BOT members includes Sir Ernest Elochukwu, Sunday Momoh, Dayo Azeez, Mohammed Sanni Utai, Tunde Awonuga, and Ademola Mumuney.

The newly elected BOT officials are expected to continue building on the foundation of unity and progress established under Mustapha’s previous tenure, steering ANLCA towards further growth and success.
