ANLCA Lifts Embargo on BOT Electioneering Campaign, As Sale of Forms Begin

The Association Electoral Committee (ASECO) of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has lifted embargo on electioneering process and campaign activities into its Board of Trustees (BOT) seats.
In a letter dated 1st of July 2024 signed by the Chairman of ASECO, Elochukwu Obiora and Secretary, Oluwatope Fatimehin informed all ANLCA members that the sale of Forms for the election has commenced Tuesdays to Fridays from 9.am till 4.pm
“We are pleased to inform our esteemed members that all electoral activities in respect of the Board of Trustees (BoT) Election are hereby declared open.
“Sequel to the above, members interested in contesting in the above election are advised to proceed with the procurement of the expression of Interest and Nomination Forms at the National Secretariat by 9:00hrs to 4:00hrs Tuesday to Friday from the commission’s Secretary.
“While congratulating the Association on the progress so far, we wish to call for maturity and playing by the rules as the campaigns, consultations and other processes commence” the letter read in part.
