The Customs Area Controller, Apapa Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu has taken collaboration with sister agencies a notch higher by participating in the Walk Against Drugs in Commemoration of 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.

The CAC on Tuesday joined the Commander NDLEA, Apapa Special Area Command, and other government agencies in the port to bring awareness on the dangers inherent in drug abuse.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, Chief Superintendent of Customs, Abubakar Usman in a press statement noted that the Customs boss attested that such collaboration between sister agencies of government is crucial for intelligence sharing and ensuring public safety.

He further noted that by working together, security agencies can achieve greater success and better protect their communities than they could alone.
