Speaking, Compt Bomodi said that all officers of Customs under the current CGC have been properly motivated.
“The Comptroller General last December made good all his promises, especially with regards to the 13 months payment. All officers got that.
“With regards to the palliative from the President, all officers got that. So, we have been gingered to work.
“We do know that even within Seme Area, there are major improvements in terms of infrastructure for officers, in terms of accommodation.
“We see the construction of barracks. We see the upgrade of our healthcare facility. The hospitals are top notch and they serve as a reference hospital for all border community dwellers.
“Even other agencies that work within this area use our hospitals.
“So when you talk about accommodation, you talk about salary, you talk about healthcare and all that, you see there are major improvements.
“And these are major incentives that will enable these officers to perform better in their various assignments” Bomodi acknowledged
