Raymond Gold Tenders Apology to Capt Iheanacho, Integrated Oil Over False Publication

A maritime stakeholder, Mr Raymond Gold of Number 4, Raymond Gold Street, Irede, Lagos State has tenderd a public apology to the Chairman of Integrated Oil and Gas Limited, Capt Emmanuel Iheanacho over a false publication he made in the Vanguard Newspaper of Monday the 15th day of February, 2016.

A copy of the letter of apology issued on Thursday is coming on the heels of a judgment of Magistrate Court of Lagos State delivered on the 19th day of December, 2023 by His Honour A. A Adesanya.

Gold in the apology letter said “I, Raymond Gold Onoriebe hereby apologize for the false publication made in the Vanguard Newspaper of Monday the 15th day of February, 2016 on page 10 of the said News Paper in respect of alleged dredging at Irede Community by Integrated Oil and Gas Limited. The said publication is false and was made due to wrong and erroneous information.

“I sincerely apologize for the inconveniences the said publication might have caused Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho and his company Integrated Oil and Gas Limited.

“This apology is sequel to the judgment of Magistrate Court of Lagos State delivered on the 19th day of December, 2023 by His Honour A. A Adesanya”
