ANLCA Election: ASECO Issue Members Lifeline to Regularize Documentation
By DAPO OLAWUNI
The Association Electoral Committee (ASECO) of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has offered member of the association a 5-days lifeline to perfect their documentation in readiness for the forthcoming National Executive Committee (NECOM) elections which is expected to hold this month.
Recall that earlier in July 2023, ASECO had released 1072 provisional voters list for practitioners in the Western Zone who would be allowed to vote in the forthcoming National Executive Committee (NECOM) election.
In a circular signed by the Chairman of ASECO, Chief Nze Aloysius Emeka Igwe, dated 7th August, 2023, the body directed all members to visit the ANLCA National secretariat between Monday 7th to 11th of August to perfect their documentation.
The circular reads in part “In compliance with the Customs Consultative Council (CCC) peace initiative committee, ASECO wishes to inform members who had earlier registered but were unable to perfect their documentation to please proceed to the National Secretariat to do so from today Monday 7th August to 11th August 2023 in order to accommodate such members in the forthcoming NECOM election.
“Chapters outside Lagos should perform similar exercises and forward to ASECO within the same period to meet up with the 11th August deadline”
That’s a good one to done
Thank you.
