Maritime industry icon, Otunba Kunle Folarin lives on as the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has christened it’s Abuja Zonal Office after him.
The commissioning ceremony is expected to be carried out by the Minister of Transportation, Mu’azu Jaji Sambo today, Tuesday, May 16th 2023.
The six story NIMASA edifice is named “Otunba Olakunle Folarin House”
Otunba Kunle Folarin died on November 8th 2022, few weeks to his 82nd birthday. He was the Chairman of Nigerian Ports Consultative Council (NPCC) as well as Chairman of National Seafarers Welfare Board.
