Farinto, Oyeniyi Lead ANLCA’s Delegation to Family of Late ASECO Chairman, Aloy Anokuru

The Acting National President of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Dr Kayode Farinto and it’s Patron to Prince Taiye Oyeniyi on Monday led a strong delegation of the association to visit the widow and family of the late Chairman of Association Electoral Committee (ASECO) Comrd Aloy Ejiagadike Anokwuru who died few weeks ago.
The delegation arrived the late Aloy’s house in the Iba area of Lagos State, even as they took time one after another to sign the Condolence Register before settling down to condole with the family.
Prince Taye Oyeniyi led the delegates in prayers which he did in the sense of the Catholic Church, the faith late Anokwuru professed while alive. He beseeched God to repose Aloy’s soul and console his family.
In his speech, Dr Farinto said that Aloy’s passing threw him and ANLCA off balance but the association has no choice than to accept it.
While consoling the family, he advised them to be closer to God and trust in Him because what happened is irreversible and no human being can question God.
In his own speech, Patron of ANLCA, Prince Taye Oyeniyi said that Aloy was a great man, that he lived, worked and died for ANLCA, and that’s why a grateful ANLCA family have come to pay homage.
He said that he is happy that late Anokwuru passed on after ANLCA have achieved total peace.
He described Anokuru as a stubborn, courageous and no nonsense man who doesn’t indulge in idle gossip because what he can not tell somebody to his face, he won’t say at the back.
Oyeniyi turned to Anokuru’s son, a 24 year old graduate and admonished him to be strong like his father and take the bull by the horn and that ANLCA will be beside him, his mother and his siblings at this period of greatest need.
Other speakers includes the National Secretary Alh Abdulazeez Babatunde Mukaila, member BOT Mr Eniola Igbaroola, Chairman KLT Toyin Oyeleke, Otunba Sunday Oyekola of PTML Chapter, Chijioke Daniel and Dr Obicee Okonkwo.
Their speeches center on words of comfort and promise to stand beside Aloy’s family at this time. Chijioke (Nkwazema) reiterated his earlier promise to take care of the education of one of Aloy’s children.
In his response, Aloy’s first son Kosisochukwu Anokwuru thanked ANLCA members for the visit saying that nothing can be more gratifying by seeing the National EXCO, Patron, BOT members and Chapter Chairmen in gathered in his late father’s compound to console them.
He said that it sends message that his father was a great man and who was highly respected in ANLCA. He pleaded that ANLCA should help his family to pull themselves together to give his father a befitting burial.
Others present at the visit includes, Chairman of Seme Chapter Onyekachi Ojinma, Chairman of MMIAC Chapter Prince Adewusi, Head of Protocol Chief Francis Maduekwe, Emmanuel Onyeme of Tincan, Secretary of Audit Committee Elder Adelaja, Ruth Chukwukezirim of MMIA, my humble self, among others.
