ANLCA Elections Suffer Setback as ASECO Chairman, Alloy Anokuru Dies
The Chairman of Association Electoral Committee (ASECO) of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Chief Alloy Anokuru is dead.
This sad event is coming at a time that the association is planning to hold it’s elections into National Executive Committee (NECOM) May 2023.
DAILY TREND reported last week that Chief Anokuru had issued guidelines towards the coming NECOM Elections, even as he urged members not to present cloned and fake practicing licenses.
It was however gathered that Anokuru died in the early hours of Sunday after a brief illness.
Before his appointment as the ASECO boss, Anokuru was the former chairman, Kiri Kiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Chapter of ANLCA . He served the chapter for eight years as chairman.
Meanwhile, Acting President of the association, Dr. Kayode Farinto has since confirmed the tragic news on Sunday, even as he expressed sadness about the sudden death of the ASECO Chairman.
