CRFFN Inaugurates ANLCA’s Electoral Committee, ASECO Today

Even as the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) is getting set to go to the polls to elect fresh set of National Executive Committee (NECOM) the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) has said that it is inaugurating the Association Electoral Committee (ASECO) today 30th of March 2023.

In a letter dated 27th of March 2023 signed by the CRFFN Registrar, Mrs Chinyere Uromta, addressed to the Acting National President,
Association of Nigerian Licenced Customs Agents ( ANLCA),
Durbar Road, Amuwo Odofin,
Lagos, CRFFN states that the inauguration would take place at the ANLCA National Secretariat at 11am.

DAILY TREND gathered that the meeting is going to be an enlarged one, where former resolutions and agreements on the five years old crisis in the association would be cemented.

Recall that the CRFFN Chairman, Alhaji Tsanni Abubakar recently presided over an Annual General Meeting (AGM) of ANLCA in Lagos where the 5-years old crisis in ANLCA was successfully resolved.

Already, Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha, leader of the former Registered Board of Trustees (BOT) has sent out invitation to all his group to ensure they participate in today’s meeting.

The letter written by CRFFN with reference number; CRFFN/ARCEO/ANP/ANLCA/017 27th March, 2023, the Council said the ANLCA electoral body is comprised of four persons, each warring group to produce two persons.

“Following the Resolution at the Annual General Meeting held
on Wednesday, 15th March, 2023, to inaugurate the Association Electoral Committee
(ASECO), l write to inform you that the meeting has been scheduled as follows:
VENUE: Association of Nigerian licensed Customs Agents( ANLCA), Amuwo Odofin,
Lagos.
DATE: Thursday, 30th March, 2023
TIME: 1l.00am prompt

“The Association Electoral Committee ( ASECO) comprising of four (4) members,
two(2) each from each group are expected to be in attendance for inauguration” it states.
