MWUN Scribe, Comrade Akingboye Loses Wife

The entire Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) have been thrown into a state of mourning as the Secretary General of the Union, Comrade Felix Akingboye lost his wife; Deaconess Abike M. Akingboye to the cold hands of death.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by the Deputy Secretary General of the union, Comrade Oniha Erazua, Mrs Akingboye 71-years old, died on Monday.
The terse message read “Comrade gentlemen of the press.
It is with a heart full of grief that the maritime workers union of Nigeria announce the unfortunate demise of Mrs. Abike M. Akingboye, the lovely wife of our chief scribe and secretary General of our great union – MWUN , Com. Felix S. Akingboye.
“The incident occurred on Monday 10th October 2022 after a brief illness.
May her gentle soul rest blissful in the Lord’s bossom”
DAILY TREND recalls that the union in recent times has lost its key members including its Treasurer, Mr Thimothy Olorunfemi, the former President, NPA Branch of the union, Comrade Adeleke Sanni, among others.
