Conarina Maritime Academy Begins Admission for National Diploma Programmes
Rector of the Conarina Maritime Academy, Oria-Abraka in Delta State, Capt Tony Onaharigho has said
admission is currently ongoing at the academy for its National Diploma Programme for 2021/2022 academic session.
According to him, the academy has Diploma certificate courses approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) which includes; Marine Engineering, Welding and Fabrication, Computer Hardware Engineering Technology, Nautical Sciences among others.
Capt Onaharigho who is also the President, Nigerian Institute of Shipping (NIS) noted that the school equally has Marine Short Course Certificates which are approved by the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) which includes; Nasic Safety Training (BST) Efficient Deck Hand (EDH) Preparatory, Motor man preparatory training among others.
Conarina Maritime Academy provides practical STCW trainings for students and on-the-field maritime operatives who are desirous of updating their knowledge, and upgrading of their ranks in the maritime industry.
Through its solid local partnerships and strategic international alliances with other globally recognized maritime institutions, the academy is positioned to provide the best on-hands-training and core capacity building that is relevant to the 21st century maritime operations.
