CRFFN Sets Up Annex Office At ANLCA National Secretariat

There are indications that the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) has set up a temporary annex office at the National Secretariat of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) at Inde Dikko House, Amuwo Odofin, Festac Lagos towards the forthcoming elections into its Governing Council.

The National Secretary of ANLCA, Alhaji Babatunde Mukaila has urged members to take advantage of the opportunity to update their status in preparations for the upcoming elections into the Governing Council of the CRFFN.

In a message circulated to members on Wednesday, the ANLCA scribe said the process would commence 9th September, 2021 from 11.00am to 3.00pm daily.

Following the directive by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi that election should be conducted into the CRFFN, the ANLCA at its recent emergency National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting encouraged to freely participate in the Election.

The NEC meeting which was presided over by the Vice President of ANLCA, Dr Kayode Farinto also urged members to register and go for the compulsory training programmes of CRFFN.

The association enlightened its members that, from January, 2022, it is now mandatory that anyone who wishes to practise freight forwarding business in Nigeria must obtain a Minimum qualification of Diploma in Freight Forwarding from any of the accredited institutions by the CRFFN.

Alternatively, the individual can get an Executive Diploma in Freight Forwarding from University of Lagos (UNILAG) in a crash program arranged by CRFFN for the Executive officers with over Ten years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
