For fear of getting lynched for the second Time, National President of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) today stormed the Tin Can Island Command of Nigeria Customs Service in order to introduce a factional chapter executives to the Customs Area Controller, Musa Baba Abdulahi.
ANLCA members at the Customs Processing Centre (CPC) at Tin Can Port command confirmed to DAILY TREND NEWS that the ANLCA President was guarded by military police personnel.
Recall that Tony was recently attacked on February 18th, 2021 at the PTML Chapter of ANLCA while he was going to the Customs Area Controller of the PTML Customs command to officially introduce some parallel chapter executives.
During the visit, he was allegedly attacked by aggrieved members who disposed him of his phones, cash and other valuables.
To forestall such from repeating itself, the army vehicle with plate number; NA 5263 was reportedly stationed inside the Customs command.
Speaking with DAILY TREND NEWS, sources at the Tin Can Customs long-room (CPC) alleged that the ANLCA President brought military police to intimidate his members.
“If he is so popular and well accepted, why is he bringing military police to intimidate us at Tin Can Chapter?
“All past Presidents of ANLCA and other executives that have visited Tin Can Port, none of them have had course to parade with heavy security because there was peace and they are good leaders widely accepted, but in the case of Tony, this is an indication that he is not wanted by his people, he has been rejected” the source alleged.
Recall that an intractable leadership crisis engulfed the soul of ANLCA since 2018, leading to two different factions in the association.
