Pastors Conference 2021: President Of UACC, Rev James Owoyemi Visits CAN President, Olubadan
The President United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC), Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi has paid a courtesy visit to the President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Dr. Samson Olasupo Ayokunle at his office in Ibadan, Oyo State as part of activities to mark its Pastors Conference 2021.
The Pastors’ Conference which kick-started on Monday 16th of March 2021 came to a close on Sunday 21st 2021 with a thanksgiving service at UACC , Sabo Ibadan.
Rev. Dr. Owoyemi also visited the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji at his Palace, as well as the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) as part of the week-long conference.
Accompanied by other senior pastors, Dr. Owoyemi thanked the CAN President for his support , Ondo State, where he was ordained by Rev. Dr. Ayokunle as the President of UACC.
He also appreciated the CAN President for finding time, despite his tight schedule to be at the convention.
He further prayed that God will bless and strengthen the CAN President with more knowledge and wisdom.
Responding, Rev. Dr. Ayokunle thanked Rev. Owoyemi for visiting him and urged him to be steadfast and continue to propagate the gospel to the glory of God.
The CAN President prayed for God’s protection and mercy upon UACC, adding that God will move the church to the next level under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Owoyemi as President of UACC.
During his call to the Management of BCOS in their office in Ibadan, Oyo State, the UACC President thanked the broadcasting station for their support during his ordination as the President of UACC in November last year at the church convention in Akure, Ondo State.
Rev. Dr. Owoyemi prayed for the progress of the media organisation and asked God to keep and protect all employees of BCOS.
In his response the General Manager of BCOS, Mr. Tunde Ajayi appreciates the President of UACC and his entourage for coming to visit the media organisation, he promised to keep on projection the activities of the church to the public.
Also, Rev. Dr. Owoyemi and his team visited the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji in his Palace.
He thanked the Oba for making sure there’s peace and harmony among residents of Ibadan.
He prayed the God will continue to bless the Oba with good health and that the Oba will continue to experience peace throughout his reign as Olubadan of Ibadan.
Responding, the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji thanked the President of UACC and his team for visiting him in his Palace, he prayed that the President would have a glorious and success tenure as the President of UACC.
The President of UACC and his entourage equally toured all the churches in Oyo State.
Those that accompanied the President on the tour of the churches and visit include the General Superintendent, Rev. Ogunlade, Gen Secretary, Rev. Oluwatuase, Gen. Evangelist, Rev. Alo, Financial Secretary, Rev. Adeusi amongst others.
