Former Chairman of Onne Chapter of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) and a member of House of Representatives, Hon Ositadinma Chinedu Prestige is dead.
The National President Iju Tony Nwabunike has described Hon Prestige’s passing as a huge loss to the nation in general and ANLCA in particular.
It was earlier rumored in December 2020 that Hon Prestige was dead, but the lawmaker quickly dispelled the report. However, the death was officially announced announced yesterday.
According to a message sent to our correspondent by the Special Special Assistant on Media to ANLCA President, Barr Val Iwuchukwu, the sad event took place in London after a protracted illness.
“Ossy Prestige was one of the pillars in which ANLCA is anchored, having played leadership roles in different capacity in ANLCA Eastern Zone, one of which is two times Chairman of Onne Sea Port Chapter of ANLCA”
“He was a great professional and was among the very few that own bounded terminal in Port Harcourt. He was such a perfect gentleman whose love for ANLCA is not in doubt”
“Hon Ossy Prestige until his death was a member representing Aba North and Aba South, Abia State in the National Assembly. The role ANLCA will play in his burial will be communicated subsequently. May his soul rest in the peace”
