Buhari Appoints Buba Marwa as DG of NDLEA

President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly approved the appointment of former Military Administrator of Lagos State, Brigadier General Mohamed Buba Marwa Rtd as the New Director-General of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency(NDLEA)
President Buhari had last week approved the removal of the former DG of the agency, Col. Muhammad Mustapha Abdallah (rtd).
Haruna was in the United Kingdom when he received notice of his removal.
Until this appointment, Mohamed Buba Marwa was the Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Drug Abuse.
With this information, Mohamed Buba Marwa is now the new DG of NDLEA.
Mohammed Buba Marwa is a retired Nigerian army officer who served as governor of Borno State, and then Lagos State during the military administrations of Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Sani Abacha.
