Customs Raise Security Alarm Over Boko Haram Terrorist Camps In Abuja
The Nigeria Customs Service has issued a security alert to all its officers to ways be conscious of their working environment following the presence of Boko Haram terrorist camps in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja and surrounding Kogi and Nasarawa States.
The security alarm was raised in a circular number titled; Re: Intelligence On National Security with reference number NCS/ENF/ABJ/180/SI/Vol 11 issued on August 20th and signed by the Comptroller of Headquaters, H.A Sabo.
The warned officers to be at red alert while carrying out their official duties around Abuja as the Boko Haram terrorists have now set of several camps around Abuja and environs, and may stage an attack any moment from now.
The circular reads “Information reaching the Comptroller-General of Customs [CGC] reveals the existence of Boko Haram Terrorist Camps [BHT‘s] in and around the Federal Capital Territory”
“Further reports have it that they are planning to attacks some selected targets within the territory. They are reported to have set up their
Camps in the following identified enclaves; Kunyam Bush along airport road off DIA Staff Quarters Abuja”
“Robochi/Gwagwalada Forest, Kwaku Forest Kuje Abuja, Unaisha Forest in Toto Local Government of Nasarawa State, Gegu Forest close to Idu Town in Kogi State”
“Consequently, you are to be at alert and security conscious of your environment at all times.

According to the circular, the Comptroller-General of Customs, Col Hameed Ali has directed that the information be circulated to all area commands, all zones, Ex-Swift Response, the various Marine commands and so on.
