CRFFN: Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic Gets Accreditation

There are indications that the Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, a freight forwarding school located in Sokoto State has gotten the accreditation of the Federal Government.
Accreditation of the school was facilitated by the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) in collaboration with International Federation of Freight Forwarding Associations (FIATA)
DAILY TREND NEWS learnt that the polytechnic would be offering professional certificates, International Diploma, International Higher Diploma in freight forwarding and supply chain management.
A member of Freight Forwarders Investigation Panel of CRFFN, Fwdr Miftahu Ya’u told our correspondent that “It’s a good news that many freight forwarders, Custom brokers, manufacturers, shipping companies and other maritime stakeholders would start benefiting knowledge from the institute beginning from next year 2020”
“We therefore, urge freight forwarders from the North and other parts of the country to use these opportunities in furthering their knowledge of freight forwarding and supply chain management through these institutions”
He commended the Chairman Governing Council, CRFFN, Alhaji Abubakar Tsanni, and the Registrar, Barr. Sam Nwakohu for their efforts in facilitating the accreditation of the polytechnic.
“We also once again wish to commend the Hon Minister for the planned construction project of Freight Forwarding Office that would cost the government over five hundred million commenced last year at Jibia, Katsina state” he said
