Jose Mourinho Appointed Tottenham Head Coach
Controversial football coach, Jose Mourinho has been named as the new head coach for Tottenham Hotspur football club.
The Portuguese signing a three-and-a-half-year deal.
This news comes after Mauricio Pochettino was dismissed on Tuesday evening.
Mourinho will take charge of his third club in the Premier League, following two spells with Chelsea and a two-and-a-half-year stint as Manchester United boss.
“In Jose, we have one of the most successful managers in football,” Daniel Levy, Tottenham’s chairman, said.
“He has a wealth of experience, can inspire teams and is a great tactician.
“He has won honours at every club he has coached.
“We believe he will bring energy and belief to the dressing room.”
Pochettino, meanwhile, left after five years and 293 games at the helm, while he led Spurs to the Champions League final last season.
