LASWA Marks Customer Service Week 2026 With Refreshments, Music, Free Boat Tickets for Commuters
The Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) has continued the celebration of its Customer Service Week 2026 at its Falomo Jetty, Ikoyi, Lagos, with departments engaging commuters through refreshments, music, giveaways and other activities.
The Operations Department opened the week’s activities by interacting with commuters and treating them to light refreshments.
The Accounts and Audit Department followed with refreshments, music and dancing. As part of the activities, Caverton surprised 10 commuters with free boat tickets to Ikorodu.
The Legal, Admin and HR departments, working with Business Development, also engaged commuters under the theme “Spice, Sauce and Service.” Their programme featured a mascot appearance that drew excitement from those present.
The authority said the week’s activities were meant to show appreciation to commuters and reinforce its commitment to quality service delivery.
“Excellent service is not just about what we do, it is about how we make our commuters feel,” the statement said.
The activities are continuing, with more departments expected to hold engagements before the week ends.
