Dapo Olawuni Resigns as ANLCA Tin Can Chapter Media Aide

Dapo Olawuni, an award-winning maritime journalist and publisher of Daily Trend News, has resigned from his appointment as the Senior Special Adviser (SSA) on Media to the Tin Can Island Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA).
Olawuni’s resignation was contained in a letter dated October 30, 2025, and addressed to the chapter’s Chairman, Prince Wale Cole.
In the letter, Olawuni expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve and assist in projecting the chapter’s engagements with stakeholders.
He stated that his decision to step down was made after careful consideration to focus on his primary responsibilities as the Chief Executive Officer of Daily Trend.
The journalist confirmed his resignation is effective from the date of the letter, October 30, 2025.
He also noted his willingness to assist the chapter with “tailored media solutions” in the future.
