Comptroller Joe Anani has been appointed as the Customs Area Controller in charge of PTML Command of the Nigeria Customs Service. This is even as the Tin Can Island Chapter of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) under the leadership of Prince Olawale Cole has congratulated the new Customs boss, as well as other newly promoted officers including Deputy Comptroller in charge of Valuation, DC Wale Onigbanjo, who was formerly Technical Supervisor.

Compt Anani was recently promoted to become a Customs Comptroller. Prior to his promotion, he was the Deputy Comptroller in charge of Valuation at the Tin Can Island Command of Customs where he obviously performed and earned the respect of stakeholders.

In a statement on Tuesday, Public Relations Officer of the Chapter, Onome Joy Monije commended Compt Anani, describing him as a highly disciplined and committed Customs officer.

“We are happy that he is the one taking over at PTML, there is no doubt that the command would witness a turn around under his watch, he is a very fine Officer and we at ANLCA are happy to celebrate with him. We believe in Joe Anani, and the ANLCA Tin Can Chairman, Prince Olawale Cole wish him well in his new post.

“We also want to appreciate the Customs Area Controller of Tin Can, Compt Frank Onyeka, he is laying down a good legacy at the command, and all the officers are building on it seriously ” Monije stated.
