The collective and collaborative efforts of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) in the area of maritime security has continued to prove encouraging with the recent affirmation by the International Maritime Bureau (IMB) affirming that piracy has indeed declined in the Gulf of Guinea.
