Morocco Defeats Nigeria to Reach AFCON 2025 Finals

Morocco have booked their place in the AFCON 2025 final, setting up a mouth-watering clash against Senegal after edging Nigeria 4–2 on penalties.

The semi-final ended 0–0 after extra time, with both sides cancelling each other out in a tense and tactical contest. When the match went to penalties, the Atlas Lions kept their composure, converting four of their spot kicks to Nigeria’s two.

Morocco now turn their focus to the final showdown against Senegal, as the continent prepares for a thrilling battle to crown the champions of Africa.

Nigeria meanwhile will play Egypt in the 3rd and 4th place on Saturday.
