APFFLON President Otunba Ogunojemite Celebrates Customs DCG Tariff &Trade, Caroline Niagwan’s Birthday Today

The President of the Association of Licensed Customs Agents of Nigeria (APFFLON), Otunba Frank Ogunojemite, has extended warm birthday wishes to Deputy Comptroller General of Customs Caroline Niagwan, who oversees tariff and trade operations at the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).

In a statement released on Saturday, October 18, 2025, Otunba Ogunojemite praised DCG Niagwan’s exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s customs operations and trade policies.

“On behalf of the entire membership of APFFLON, I felicitate with Deputy Comptroller General Caroline Niagwan on the occasion of her birthday,” Otunba Ogunojemite stated. 

Continuing,  the APFFLON President said “DCG Niagwan has demonstrated exceptional professionalism and dedication in her role overseeing tariff and trade matters for the Nigeria Customs Service.”

The APFFLON President further highlighted DCG Niagwan’s significant contributions to improving the operational efficiency of the Nigeria Customs Service, particularly in the areas of tariff administration and trade facilitation. He said that her leadership has been instrumental in fostering collaboration between customs agents and the NCS, creating a more conducive environment for legitimate trade in Nigeria.

“Under her stewardship, we have witnessed progressive reforms in tariff policies and enhanced dialogue between stakeholders in the customs ecosystem. Her open-door policy and willingness to engage with licensed customs agents have greatly improved the ease of doing business in Nigeria’s maritime sector.”

Otunba Frank Ogunojemite expressed his prayers and best wishes for DCG Niagwan, asking for divine guidance, good health, and continued wisdom in her responsibilities at the Nigeria Customs Service.

“As DCG Niagwan celebrates another year of life, we in APFFLON pray that the Almighty grants her more years of impactful service, robust health, and the strength to continue her excellent work in advancing Nigeria’s trade policies and customs administration,” the APFFLON President concluded
